Barry was born in the wheatbelt and lived on his parents farm after attending school until the end of year 10 he returned to the family farm working as a farmhand growing crops and assisting with animal husbandry and marketing of both sheep and pigs. In 1995 he inherited a 2000 acre farm from his parents and has since developed and built up the farm to the 9000 acre enterprise it is today .

Steph was originally a secondary teacher of Science and Home Economics and a school development officer in regional WA. She now manages the office , encompassing budgeting, financials, grain marketing ,insurance, licensing, OH&S, and HR. Steph is a Graduate of the AICD,
